Taking off to see my folks in Indiana and drop the plane off for maintenance. Going from warm sunny skies to rain and cold weather…burr.
This is when layering is an optimal choice. My sweater is lightweight cotton, perfect for the warmer temps on the majority of our flight. However, the bomber jacket was very much appreciated as we approached our final destination. The tennis shoes are great for climbing in and out of the plane, but I have been known to wear my heels too.
Taking care of your own food is a must when there is no flight attendant. This tasted pretty darn good at 8,000 feet over the Appalachians.
