This mustard Zara satin dress and statement earrings just say “Holiday Time”. I love these earrings because they look like an inverted Christmas tree adorned with beautiful lights. To finish the look I paired it with black suede pumps and a small cross-body bag.
The design of this dress is simple, yet the loose draping neckline, matching belt, and large metallic buttons give it a feminine quality. This dress can be styled multiple ways, eliminating it from the “one hit wonder” list. For Christmas Eve I’m thinking of wearing it with white and blue earrings, blue suede kitten heels and gold evening bag. This dress will be on repeat and I’ll show you how to take it to work. The one down side of the dress is that it wrinkles easily. If wrinkles bother you, this dress is not for you. I was a bit surprised, as I have not experienced this in a long while.
Although I went with my Chloe bag, a black clutch would also work nicely.
I had to get this tree in the picture for two reasons; one it’s beautiful and two it matches my lip color Russian Red by MAC.
These earrings will easily transition into spring given the beautiful primary colors.
I’m so happy I got all my Christmas decorations up, including our bedroom. If you haven’t seen the bedroom pic, check it out mamabsays on Instagram. I even have about half of my Christmas shopping done. Hopefully by the end of this week I will have it completed, except for stocking stuffers and any surprises I may find before Christmas.
