If you get the feeling I’ve been on a Zara kick, you’d be right. I love their trendy, yet elegant classic style. We’ve all heard the saying, “you get what you paid for.” In this case, I think you get more.
It was very cold outside this morning and I had planned on wearing this jacket with a sweater. Yet by afternoon the bright sun had warmed Charleston considerably. So I paired this jacket with my Oak + Fort black cami, Madewell boyfriend jeans, Antrhopologie white booties, Chloe bag and vintage costume pearl earrings.
I like the frayed edges with the pearl button appliqués. I did find a few similar jackets on-line, however the ones that looked most similar were very expensive. Without making anyone upset, it kind of feels like I’m wearing a Chanel jacket. Trust me, if someone gave me one, I’d probably not take it off for a month.
Classic pieces are good items to have in your closet because they have staying power and are very versatile. This jacket would look beautiful layered over a fitted dress or pencil skirt and blouse. The pearl button appliqués dress it up so it can be worn for most occasions. It makes a perfect coat for climates like Charleston.
When I get a fabulous gift from hubby I say “thank you”! This Chloe bag is timeless and an item I hope to pass down, albeit a very very long time from now :). A picture is worth a thousand words…
As you can see I wear jeans a lot. The brands I wear most are Old Navy and Madewell. My favorites from Madewell are the slim fitting boyfriend jean, which I’m currently sporting. I do own several trousers, but jeans are my usual go to pants.
Window-shopping anyone? Haha, it’s bigger than me, I generally have to go inside if I see something of interest. How about you?
