White Jeans In Winter

How To Wear White Jeans In The Winter

Alleluia, white has finally become a year-round color. I have always loved and sported cream or a winter white, but wearing white is relatively new for me.  I’m not sure what took me so long.

These Madewell distressed jeans with the raw cropped hem are fine for running in and out of the car when paired with these short booties.  But if I were doing some serious outside walking I would pair these with ankle boots and socks.  If you live in a climate that is cold most of the winter and buying a new pair of white jeans I would probably forgo any distress – cause it be cold.  This cold snowy weather is extremely unusual for Charleston and I loved every second.

Any color combination will work with white jeans, it really depends what’s in your closet and your mood.  Today’s mood was calling for a beige turtleneck sweater, soft and feminine.  Yet, a deep rich burgundy or cobalt would look fabulous, bright and bold.

To complete my outfit I paired the jeans and sweater with these white booties, large beige bag, long necklace, hoop earrings and bracelet (this is more jewelry than I normally wear, but I was liking it).  This Club Monaco coat is last year’s and I like the multicolor tweed and longer length.  Unfortunately it’s sold out, but I have a couple of options I’m crazy about should you be looking for a winter coat, here & here.

Red is my go to color for my lips, but I received Bobbi Brown Sandwashed Pink as a sample and it might be my new favorite pink.
