There is seldom a day that I choose not to work, but I love my job. However, Monday always feels like the beginning of the week to me. Since I often work from home you’ll generally catch me in a casual work style – denim paired with shirts, sweaters or tees.
I like to be ready to go on a moments notice. Besides there is something about dressing for work that’s good for my psyche. Blazers are a great option to pair with denim and your basic white button down shirt. It always looks tailored and crisp. However, I love adding pizzazz (my new favorite word) to just about any outfit by accessorizing. Today, it’s these beautiful Zara pointed slingback heels, polka dot dangles, Kate Spade pink sunnies and Loewe bag.
Loving these Zara polka dot earrings and my new Kate Spade sunnies. Mixing pinks and reds are on point this season and I believe a continuing trend. I remember my mom’s kitchen was red and pink when I was about five. That might sound awful, but it was popular way back then. My mother always had impeccable taste in both clothing and interior design.
I adore sling backs and these truly fit like a glove. That was good news since they’re the first shoes I’ve ordered on-line from Zara. Unfortunately, I have trouble keeping slingback shoes on. Maybe I have a poorly designed foot (haha). But I finally found a solution, which I will be sharing in an upcoming video. Does anyone else have that problem?
The older I get the more determined I am to make each day count. I don’t always succeed, but it’s the trying that counts. Go get em ladies!
