Beautiful spring days lead to thoughts about flowers and sunshine. So it seemed apropos to sport this Anthropologie floral top and striped pants. I love these paired together, yet each is versatile in its own right.
Today we meandered around downtown Old Village. It’s only a couple of short blocks, but it’s lined with cute shops, a few restaurants and the coolest old school pharmacy. If you take a longer hike, make a stop at Pitt Street Bridge. You’ll find visitors and locals walking the bridge, breathing in the ocean air, hopeful anglers casting lines, dog walkers and photographers.
I really like the combination of this Maeve floral top with these linen pants. Since the stripes in the pants are quiet they really compliment the blouse, rather than clash. I wanted to keep my shoes and accessories neutral so these Crissy mules and Madewell canteen bag worked well.
I particularly like the sign on the right, because I wish that for all women. There are things I still worry about; like my kids. I want them to be safe, healthy and happy. I’m learning to let go of the things I can’t control, but it’s still difficult. I taught them to be strong and they’ll never get there without mistakes, failures and maybe even a few broken bones.
Any plans for the weekend? My husband just got home from Alaska so tonight will be spent at home for some R&R. The rest of the weekend we’ll play by ear.
