Recently I blogged these Mango pleated trousers and a woman wrote the rear view made me look like a “saggy, baggy elephant…” but YOLO.  Sometimes you just have to live your best life anyway.

The important thing is, we shouldn’t need someone else’s approval to feel good about ourselves. Self love and appreciation is critical to becoming the person we are meant to be.  I admit I try to wear clothes that both feel good and look good. I adore these trousers and the loose pleated look is what attracted me to them in the first place.  For me, not every outfit is about being form-fitting, sexy or showing my behind at its best.  However, if that were your goal then I’d say, you go girlfriend.

We were headed downtown for a shoot and dinner so I paired my Mango pleated trousers with this Anthropologie Magnolia ruffled blouse, Nina kitten heel mules, Zara earrings and red bag (no name item).  This is another “double duty” outfit that can be worn for both day and evening occasions.  They’re great because you can go straight from the office to dinner or drinks. Ok, I’d have to powder my nose and reapply first – that’s how I like to roll.

I’m not the happiest person when I’m hungry and I was starving.  I started giving him the look that says, “Can we speed this up before I pass out?” We were headed to The Grocery and were so close, yet so far.
