Lady In Mango Red

Lady In Mango Red

Spring always arrives bringing an array of celebrations with it: weddings, graduations, vacations and tea parties. Most of us want to find the perfect dress for these occasions. The worse is when we feel desperate to find that dress (usually ending up with something not so good). I’ve learned that when I see a dress that might fit one or all of these events, like this pretty Mango red dress, I grab it!

This Mango dress with its flared hemline has a beautiful flow while in motion.  I love how the round neckline and side buttons add just the right amount of charm.  For festive pizzazz I paired it with these Zara striped slingbacks, Zara polka dot earrings (options here & here) and Botkier mini bag.

I frequently get asked if I use a professional photographer.   No, hubby takes all my pictures and he is not a professional.  We bought a camera and we’ve learned along the way, making lots of mistakes.  Thankfully digital was invented, because otherwise this would be very costly.  I discard photos each week, because the lighting, focus, outfit or my expression looks terrible.  Fun and creative is our goal when we shoot, but sometimes it’s a challenge.  Of course we have our disagreements,  sometimes he can be so bossy.

I feel the photos are professional quality – he has come a long way baby.  I am fortunate.  When we shoot I forget about the camera and feel free to be me.

The wind began to blow harder and with more balloons I would have been up, up and away.
