Tunic tops are the diggity bomb; they are one of the most versatile and look good on everyone. They can be worn with jeans, skinny trousers, or leggings. You can wear it tucked in or out. If it buttons up the front you can even wear it as a jacket. If for some reason you’d rather not display your derriere, than a tunic is your top.
I have found some of the cutest tunic tops; Chico’s tropical striped tunic, Mango flowery blouse, Chico’s floral tunic, Madewell Cara stripe tunic, Chico’s asymmetrial crochet-hem tunic. I really like the Chico tunics, because they have the widest range of sizes and selection.
I paired this Free People tunic with Madewell white cropped jeans, similar here, Mango strappy sandals, J Crew earrings, Madewell canteen bag, option here & here and Pandora bracelet. This look could easily be worn day or night.
I love this Free People tunic, however I had to make a few adjustments. It was a tad low for me so I stitched the top together about an inch and a half at the lower part of the v-neck. Also, it had a tendency to slide off my shoulders – yikes. Unfortunately, this appears to be a design flaw. I need snaps sewn into the top of the tunic to attach to my bra. If you’re handy with a needle and thread, and the top goes on sale, it’s worth the purchase, otherwise move on.
These J Crew earrings have become a favorite. I am very fond of the rich colors and they bring out the best in an outfit.
Have a fabulous week!
