I love dresses and lately I’ve been sporting the midi. When traveling I always throw in a dress or two that can easily be worn for casual or dress-up. For daytime I paired this Mango dress with suede booties, swapping them out with white slingback heels for dinner. Either way, I’m feeling the floral feminine bliss in this Mango dress.
Fall is around the corner and this Mango floral wrap dress (on sale for $49.99) would be perfect to take you there. Pairing it with booties and a jean jacket would look adorable on cooler days. The rich colored floral pattern speaks to both summer and fall. Although, I have my eye out for great fall pieces, I’m going to enjoy every last bit of the late summer days.
We were tooling around the Alyeska Resort and found some beautiful trails. For our next visit we’re planning to hike the North Face Trail, which is 2.5 miles with a steep elevation. We had dinner with friends, at the Double Musky, who live nearby and they have hiked it numerous times. Everyone in Girdwood seems to have at least one dog and it reminded me of home. But they not only make great family members, they are also the best for bear alerts. I saw bear droppings on one of the paths we traveled and wanted to go back. I’m not in favor of meeting a bear up close.
I love the sleeves on this dress and the back is simple, yet flattering.
This is the perfect time to slip on a Cosabella bandeau bra. I have one in black, white, cream and navy. They’re easy to slip-on and the lace looks so pretty layered under a v-neck dress or blouse.
I took a seat after our long walk. The rooms at the resort are on the smaller side, but very lovely and there are lots of activities so you really don’t spend much time inside. Our get-away seriously went way too fast.
