Metallics are back in a big way this season and I love them. Over the years I’ve lost count of how many times they’ve come and gone from the fashion scene. You’ll find the latest versions in tops, jackets, shoes, and bags, pretty much everything. This Mango metallic knit top has been on repeat and it’s perfect for sporty casual or dress-up.
This old bracelet is a wardrobe malfunction. I wanted a brown bracelet to wear with this outfit and this seemed perfect. I didn’t notice it was literally connected by a few threads. Guessing I’ve worn it a lot! The more I moved the more it began falling apart. When I took it off to take a look, it snapped leaving all the pieces looking like fancy dominos. My husband said he could fix it, but I think finding the right thread and his time would cost more than what I paid for it.
I’m feeling rather proud of myself for purchasing these Mango snake-effect boots. They’re cute, versatile and on point for the season, but very affordable. Spending more on really good basic shoes that will last for seasons is easy for me. I’m usually not willing to do that with trendy items. This was the first time wearing them and I can’t believe how utterly comfortable they were. All shoes should be comfortable, but buying on-line doesn’t give you the chance to test them out before the sale. Spending a few minutes walking around on carpet once they arrive is a good test. If they hurt, send them back. Boots are another story. They generally take a bit to break in, but once they do, good ones will feel like slippers.
To take this Mango metallic knit top casual I paired it with these DL1961 jeans, Mango wood earrings, Mango snake-effect ankle boots and Chloe Faye medium shoulder bag. Click on Accessories Make The Difference to see how I styled it for dress-up.
Wishing everyone a great week and Happy Labor Day to my USA friends!
Thanks so much for stopping by.
