Animal prints are on the prowl marking their territory everywhere. This fall and winter you’ll be seeing it in everything from dresses, coats, skirts, pants, shoes, boot, belts, scarves and bags. My favorite animal prints are bags and shoes, but that won’t stop me from being on the hunt for more.
I love bags because they are so versatile. You can carry the same bag several times in a week or even days in a row, unlike clothing items that have their limits. They come in a variety of sizes, shapes, prints (leopard, cheetah, zebra, tiger, spotted hyena, striped hyena, and giraffe) and price points.
Animal prints began in the 18th century and have continued to increase in popularity through the years. I’ve seen animal prints successfully mixed and matched, so it’s an open range for you to be creative. If you’re unsure about a bag, you could always opt for an animal print scarf and wrap it around the handle of your purse.
