I’ve been crushing on pleated skirts because they are so versatile. They can easily take you through all the seasons with the right pairings. For a perfect fall look, I paired this Anthropologie Canyon pleated skirt with a Mango v-neck sweater, Madewell Grayson Brogue Chelsea boots, Mango dangle earrings and Chloe Faye bag.
In the colder months one could opt to pair this Anthropologie Canyon pleated skirt with a chunky sweater, fun socks or stockings and boots or pumps. When I’m wearing a skirt or dress while visiting Chicago in the winter months I always add something on my legs because the cold air will shoot right up your skirt. It’s freezing and I’m not a fan.
You’ll be seeing a lot of white boots this season, or some variation of the color. I really love these Madewell Grayson Brogue Chelsea boots in dried flax. They remind me of a softer winter white, which is a favorite color.
A sweater coat, denim or bomber jacket would look really cute with this outfit when it gets a tad colder.
Just hanging around feeling lady-like in my bow, pleats and boots.
I’ll be sporting an older Club Monaco pleated skirt with new accessories soon. I’ve always been a pencil skirt kind of gal and still love them, but I find the pleated skirt more versatile and very feminine. Let us know your thoughts on pleated skirts.
