I love to get multiple wears from items in my closet; it’s very satisfying to feel like you’re getting your money’s worth. This Mango ecru blazer, paired with it’s matching pants, is beautiful when dressed up. Today I’m pairing it with Madewell jeans & boots for a casual look. This is my Monday work uniform.
Since it’s still a tad warm in Charleston I layered this double-breasted ecru blazer over an off-white tank. If I get hot I can always slip off the blazer. These Madewell vintage jeans with their slimming high waist are great for eliminating extra bulk around the middle. That allows the blazer to layer beautifully over the jeans. This outfit just seemed to call for these Madewell Grayson Brogue Chelsea boots in dried flax, adding texture to the outfit while keeping it casual. To complete the outfit I paired these Mango Tortoiseshell resin earrings, Madewell stacking ring set, MVMT Storm Gold watch and Chloe Faye medium shoulder bag. And of course, my new MVMT Cypher sunnies.
This blazer can easily be worn open. You have options with the belt; take it off, leave it hanging and swinging free or tie it in a bow at back of the blazer. If you want a polished look then my preference would be buttoned and belted.

These rocking chairs can be found all over Charleston. Now all I need is a lemonade.
You know fall is here when you begin to see Halloween decorations. Some of them are so scary. Do you decorate for Halloween?
Happy Monday and thanks for stopping by!
