Must Have Holiday Dress Under $80

The holidays are here and it’s time to start thinking about that holiday dress. I knew this Mango wrap dress was a good one when I spotted it.   The price is right, it’s versatile and can be worn after the holidays. I styled it off the shoulders for a glamorous evening look.   But how cute would this be paired with a blazer and boots?

I love getting dressed up, especially around the holidays.  We have so much going on from Thanksgiving until after Christmas.  Our anniversary is in December along with my husband’s birthday and of course Christmas. All of which keeps us very busy.  Luckily, there will be occasions that require dressing up.  I like to shop early and find what will work well with what’s in my closet, both long and short term. If I let myself get pressed to find that perfect outfit, it’s usually not so perfect, but I’m desperate and buy it anyway.  Bad idea. Does this happen to you?

If it’s not obvious, we were having a lot of fun with this shoot.  I was feeling very glamorous and hubby really likes this dress.  This is when I say you need to fly your freak flag.  He kept making me laugh when he wanted a serious shot, so this was no easy feat.

Unfortunately as we age we forget sensuality is a mindset, not an age or a size.  It doesn’t even require an off the shoulder dress.  I refuse to be put in a box as I age and neither should you.  I appreciate women of all ages and their unique beauty. I often find inspiration from the young, mostly because they are more uninhibited, less judgmental and full of life.
