I have been a skincare advocate since my early twenties. Good skincare includes drinking lots of water, eating well (no junk food), exercise, never sleeping with your makeup on, using a sunscreen, no pimple picking (I’m still trying to break that habit) and a good skincare regime (morning and night).  I’ve been using City Beauty for 2 months and I say it’s worth it.

A skincare routine is essential for healthy, beautiful skin and I rarely alter my morning and nightly rituals. There are lots of skincare products on the market and finding the right one for your skin can be difficult.   I have sensitive skin so I stay away from highly fragranced products. Otherwise my skin flares up with breakouts, (I’m not a fan).

In mid-November City Beauty sent me two of their skincare products, the Multi-Action Sculpting Cream and Line-Smoothing HydroMask along with four City Lips colors to try (to read click here). The products came with no strings attached other than my promise to try them. I think that’s an indication of City Beauty’s confidence in their products.

Most skincare products claim to lessen wrinkles and provide a more youthful look. This can be true if you’ve never cared for your skin in the past. What I can say is that I was very pleased with the results. When you’re in your 60’s no product will make you look decades younger. I have used products that were not agreeable with my skin – setting me back two steps. There are many good skincare products on the market and I always advise buying the best you can afford. Quality skincare products are an important part of the beautiful glowing skin equation. I definitely give City Beauty thumbs up.
