Dressing up is something I’ve always loved to do. Special events give us a good reason, but if we don’t have one then we can always dress up for date night. Feeling pink in this feminine Majorelle Mistwood dress.
For date night I paired this Majorelle dress with these silver sandals (cute options here, here & here). For the finishing touches I added these Stella + Ruby chiffon statement earrings and Zara clutch (sold out, beautiful option here).
This dress can also be styled for casual with a pair of sandals, hoop earrings and topping it off with a wide rim straw hat – a perfect resort outfit.
“What’s the most important message you want to convey through your blog?” is a question I am often asked. I have several messages I’m hoping to impart. First, I’m hoping women of all ages enjoy my blog and discover style ideas that work for them. Many of the outfits I blog can easily be modified to fit there personal style and comfort level.
Second, I want to prove aging is a wonderful thing and getting older does not have to mean we lose our sense of style or sensuality. I push the boundaries for myself trying to live my best life. At this juncture in my life I recognize how many years I spent holding myself back, afraid of what other people might say or think. The last few years, I have focused on trying to set myself free and live with the passion and color I have always loved. I wish the same for you no matter how you define that!!!
