When it comes to lip color I generally go red with lots of pigment. However, I’ve been product-testing four Emile Cordon Lip Balms and they do not disappoint. I love the luxurious feel, the delicate fragrance (especially the St. Barts Soleil) and the 2-in-1 lip and cheek tint.
About a year ago I started using a cream blush rather than a powder. Although my T-zone is oily, the rest of my face is dry and not as dewy as in my youth. I find a cream blush helps give me that glow. I use either the Charlotte (holding) or the Powdered Rose almost everyday as my blush. I love the way it goes on and it wears nicely. I apply a small amount of color to my cheeks either with my fingers or a small blush brush. My favorite color for my lips is the Powdered Rose.
Interestingly, the St. Barts Soleil sees the most use. I apply it around my lips as a repair balm and also to the cheek area at night (over moisturizer). My cheeks feel very soft in the morning.
On gym mornings I’ve started adding a tiny bit of balm to my cheeks to enhance my “no makeup look”. 🙂
You can find these lip balm gems at Emile Cordon.
