I took my own advice and invested in a piece I can wear now and into the fall – a knife pleated mid-length skirt. This Anthropologie mint skirt caught my eye, even though mint is not a color I generally gravitate towards, something about it just spoke to me.
Pastels have never been a big part of my closet repertoire, but the last several years I’ve been changing that. I use style, as a way to express all parts of me, including my feminine side – and making room for gentle touches of pastel has been a part of that. And it feels so fresh.
For a summer look I paired this Anthropologie skirt with an Aritzia crop top (sold out), Yuul Yie nude slingback heels, Zara dangles and Kate Spade bag.
Crop tops are trending this year, but if you were not a fan, a graphic tee or silk blouse would pair nicely with this lovely mint skirt. To take it casual pair it with this Monogram sleeveless top, Reformation gladiator sandals and macramé tote.
Even when you think you’ve found shade that sneaky sun will peek through. I always carry sunnies with me, but it does help to put them on.
